Kid Lacey - Believe (interlude)
Mid-Day Moon - Ages
This was my latest animated music video was created for the band, Mid-Day Moon for the singles release. This song contains many themes of space and traveling through different times and dimensions and I tried to reflect these ideas in the video. I wanted it to feal futuristic but also retro so I used many scratched and VHS type effects.
This video was created for music artist, Kid Lacey as a promotion for his upcoming “Don’t Write Me Off”. I was given a lot of creative freedom for this video. The album has a lot of dark conflicting thoughts coming from the narrator and I wanted to capture the overwhelmingness of these thoughts in the video.
This animated music video was created for the band, Mid-Day Moon for the singles release. I was given clips of the band preforming this song on stage and then converted it through rotoscoping and tracing. Because the designs were simply traced I wanted to add lots of color to this video which I think worked very well.

Types of Change
This was another educational video that I created for a teacher at SFU in Vancouver, British Columbia. This time he was looking for a video to use in his slides and on his website that he could share with students I always love the creative freedom that this client gives me while still having a very clear concept and style that he is looking for.
This was an advertisement created for the card game “Super Sociables”. The video was then adapted to be vertical for different social media platforms. This video was a big step for me into the 3D Realm. I adapted all of the card images into After Effects and then used the built in Cinema 4D function to animate the cards
This was an educational video that I created for a teacher at SFU in Vancouver, British Columbia. He wanted to have a video which represented the concepts he talks about in his book “When Things Happen at Work”. He also wanted parts of the video to be converted into slides he could show in class as part of his slides. I really enjoyed working on this video.

NIHDC3 Animation Contest
I have been trying
For this video I really wanted to channel my emotions and turn it into a video. Most videos that I create are storyboarded or planned in some way to start but with this video I just started animating and saw where it went. I rotoscoped a video of my hand trying to grab onto something. I am really happy how it all turned out.
NIHDC is a contest among animators in the motion design and animation community. This was my first time entering the contest and I ended up placing first in the competition. I combined a lot of different styles that I loved and used a trippy psychedelic song to tie the whole video together.
Sometimes there is just an audio that instantly gives me inspiration. With The Cosmonaut that was definitely the case. it was really cool to show how I designed the rocket while it appears in the video. This video really shows how you can just use a few shapes in the right way and with some shading and effects it can come alive.

Lyric Videos
Arrow Kids - Head Up
ISO INDIES - Hourglass
This animated lyric video was created for the rap duo, ISO INDIES. I used a variety of hand drawn animation styles to craft this video and used Adobe Animate for this one as well. I love these guys music and it was a dream come true to work for them on this project.
This animated lyric video was created for the rap group, Concept Collective. I used a liquid, dripping animation style which was created in Adobe Animate (previously Adobe Flash). It was really fun to try and animate different symbols for what the different rappers were talking about. I worked with these artists several times and it was very enjoyable
This animated lyric video was created for the band, Arrow Kids for the singles release. The artists really love the vaporwave style and ascetic, so I learned how to create it from scratch in Cinema 4D. It was challenging at first but I am so proud of the result.
